Artists and Arts Organizations who provide arts education services! Here is an opportunity to market your programs to the 97,000 teachers and administrators in L.A. County for free.
Applications are now open to be included in Arts for All's Programs for Students Directory on www.lacountyartsforall.org. The directory is an online resource for educators looking for quality arts education field trips, performances, residencies and workshops that meet the California state standards; users can strategically search for arts education programs by arts discipline, subject area, grade level, program type and cultural origin.
To be listed in the directory, you are required to submit an electronic application form, required supplemental materials and be approved by a peer panel comprised of educators, artists, arts professionals and community members. Before opening an application, please read the program's guidelines. Both the guidelines and application are at http://www.laartsed.org/application.
The deadline to apply is January 25, 2012 using the online application.
You can learn more about the directory and application at the free Technical Assistance Workshop on January 5, 2012, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the L.A. County Arts Commission Offices, 1055 Wilshire Blvd. in downtown Los Angeles. To view details and register for the workshop, visit http://artsforallstudents.eventbrite.com/.
