Activate Celebration
To celebrate 10 years of ACTIVATE, we are hosting a reunion-style gathering and inviting all 600+ alumni from the program to come meet, network and celebrate 10 years of arts advocacy training. It’s also an opportunity to hire local vendors and artists, many who were affected by the LA wildfires, to partner with us and create a memorable event – in grand Arts for LA tradition!
The History of Activate
Launched in October 2014, ACTIVATE is Arts for LA’s suite of advocacy training and leadership development programs. For ten years, AFLA has empowered individuals with the skills, knowledge, and an expanded network to effect change in their communities, the greater Los Angeles arts and culture sector, and most importantly, themselves–all free of charge.
